On October 31st, 2011, my husband (then fiance) and I walked into the Humane Society in Moscow, ID and from that day on, our lives changed forever.
Meet “Doc”. He’s a lab/chow/pit/possibly something else mix. He was a stray before we got him, and that is the only background we have. We couldn’t imagine our lives without him. He joins us on fishing adventures, road trips, even some dog-friendly pubs, and just about anywhere we go where he is allowed.
Some of his favorite things: Fetching ball, cuddling, swimming, people and other dogs, kitty and squirrel patrol, being “wolfy”, and sleeping.
Things he dislikes with a passion: Squirrels and kitties.
He is the closest thing to our first child, and we sure treat him like he’s our son. We have a gazillion photos, but here are just a few of my favorites…
This post is my tribute to the dog who changed everything. We love you, Doc (aka Hound Chow Wolf Puppy aka Chow Monkey aka Wolf, and the list of “AKA’s” goes on…)
